Course progression requisites | Must successfully complete all level 1 and level 2 subjects before attempting any level 3 subject Where there is overlap between the core subjects for the course and for the chosen major, candidates are required to contact the Faculty office to add substitute subjects to their study plans. It is strongly recommended that in this situation candidates take extra engineering subjects as listed under the corresponding major in the Bachelor of Engineering single degree. |

Advanced Standing
Eligibility | Candidates may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning policy associated procedures. |

Currency | Advanced standing will be granted only for studies completed in the 10 years prior to the commencement of this course. |
Expiry | Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 10 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the candidate has not completed this course. |
Other restrictions | A minimum of 18 credit points (including 6 credit points of fourth year thesis) should be completed at ʯÁñÊÓƵ for each of levels 3 and 4. If the candidate requests advanced standing approaching the maximum level, then the advanced standing should be predominantly from the first two levels of the Bachelor of Engineering program. |
