Course pre-requisites

Completion of an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in any discipline, from this or another university; or a minimum of five (5) years business experience; or other qualifications or practical experience recognised by the Dean, College of Business Law and Governance as equivalent to the above.

Minimum English language proficiency requirements

Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 2 Schedule II of the 石榴视频 Admissions Policy.

Satisfactory completion of an appropriate Business Academic Skills Program; or demonstration of equivalent Business Academic Skills to the satisfaction of the Course Coordinator, Dean of Campus, or Dean of College of Business, Law and Governance.

The College offers a free Business Academic Skills program and will provide further information on request. Students interested in the direct demonstration of these skills must consult with the Course Coordinator regarding the requirements.

Supplementary exam for final subject

A student who has failed a single subject towards the award in their final teaching period and who gained 40% or more of the marks for that subject may be granted a supplementary examination in that subject. However if that subject is required for accreditation, then the criteria specified by that accreditation will apply.

Eligibility

Students may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Advanced Standing and Articulation policy and associated procedures.

Advanced standing will be granted only for studies completed in the 4 years prior to the commencement of this course.

Expiry

Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 6 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the student has not completed the course of study prescribed for the degree.

Other restrictions

Advanced standing will not be granted for undergraduate studies or for work experience that is used to gain admission to the course.
