Admission Requirements

Course pre-requisites

Completion of an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in nursing or equivalent qualification and;

Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or equivalent registration with the relevant registering authority for applicants outside Australia.

Minimum English language proficiency requirements

Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 3a Schedule II of the 石榴视频 Admissions Policy.

Additional selection

It is recommended that applicants have completed a minimum of one year of full-time clinical experience (or part-time equivalent) as a registered nurse.

Students may apply for advanced standing for previous tertiary study in accordance with the Credit and Articulation policy and associated procedures

6 credit points except where a student transfers from one 石榴视频 award to another, then advanced standing may be granted for more than two-thirds of the new award, where there is subject equivalence between the awards

Advanced standing will be granted only for subjects completed in the 10 years prior to the commencement of this course

Expiry

Advanced standing gained for any subject shall be cancelled 13 years after the date of the examination upon which the advanced standing is based if, by then, the student has not completed this course.-
