Course pre-requisites

Completion of an AQF level 7 psychology-based bachelor degree at this or another University within the past 10 years; or

Other qualifications/experience deemed to be equivalent, as approved by the Deputy-Vice Chancellor, Division of Tropical Health and Medicine.

Minimum English language proficiency requirements

Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 1 Schedule II of the 石榴视频 Admissions Policy.

Course learning outcomes

On successful completion of Master of Psychological Science, graduates will be able to:

  • Work independently and collaboratively to design and evaluate sustainable and culturally appropriate initiatives within legal and ethical frameworks for professional and community-based settings
  • Apply mastery of disciplinary theoretical knowledge and knowledge of research and evaluation principles and methods to independently plan and conduct a substantial project
  • Justify and convey propositions, strategies, recommendations, conclusions and professional decisions through advanced oral and written communication to specialist and non-specialist audiences
