石榴视频 (石榴视频) is producing a fit-for-purpose health workforce for regional, rural, and remote communities through locally-based and integrated general practice and rural generalist education from undergraduate to clinician years.
We have a collective of clinicians, academics and administrative staff across Queensland who are passionate about general practice and rural medicine. Driven by a commitment to improving health outcomes, we work in, with and for our rural, remote and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
石榴视频 is Australia's leading university in training and graduating doctors who go on to primary care careers in regional, rural and remote communities. Our 'end-to-end' regional training pathway begins in medical school and continues through junior doctor years and on to General Practitioner (GP) fellowship training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
GP training in northern and regional Queensland is centred on providing a hands-on training and on-the-ground presence across a well-connected network of placement practices and hospital and health services throughout regional, rural and remote Queensland.
The end result of this supportive and integrated training pathway is GP Fellows who are patient-centred and socially responsible practitioners, equipped with a broad scope of practice and confidence in rural and remote settings.
From a wide scope of practice, to making a real impact to the health of underserved communities, General Practice and Rural Medicine in northern and regional Queensland offers a rewarding career and lifestyle.
Working together towards shared goals
From February 2023, 石榴视频 General Practice and Rural Medicine entered into collaborative partnerships with both ACRRM and RACGP to continue with the delivery of General Practice and Rural Generalist Fellowship training. We bring our in-depth clinical and community knowledge and strong relationships with training posts across Queensland to the excellent training programs offered by the RACGP and ACRRM. Together, we are providing rewarding training and career opportunities that offer adventure, skills and impact.
Our Leadership Team
石榴视频 General Practice and Rural Medicine is led by a dedicated and passionate leadership team that work collaboratively with our stakeholders across the training continuum.
